General Terms and Conditions
Validity of the General Terms and Conditions
The following conditions apply to the use of the mindfulness coaching and workshop offers (hereinafter referred to as “group or individual training”) by Dr. Christine Thiel (hereinafter referred to as “provider”). The services and offers of the provider to the participants are based exclusively on these General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
Conclusion of contract
By selecting a group or individual coaching or wokshop, you agree to pay the provider the specified one-time and/or monthly subscription fees.
Subscription payments are pre-paid on the day you sign up and cover usage of this training for a monthly subscription period.
Payments for the group and individual coaching can be made by bank transfer or Paypal. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you must send proof of the transfer to info@christinethiel.com prior to beginning the program.
If your payment is not received by the provider prior to the group or individual training start date, you will not be eligible to begin using the training and access to training groups will not be established.
By purchasing a group or individual coaching program from the provider, you agree to pay the provider the applicable fees and any recurring fees.
Cancellations and Refunds
You are required by law to process all payments for a purchased training program. If for any reason you choose not to use a group or individual training program, you still have a legal obligation to make payments. If you do not complete a program for any reason, the full program fee is forfeited and you are not entitled to a fee reduction.
You may request a two month suspension of training by giving written notice within 10 (ten) days.
Cancellation by the Provider
If the Provider cancels a training or coaching session due to unforeseen or unexpected circumstances, illness, technology failure, urgent family matters or other reasons beyond its control, notice will be given as soon as possible and the session will be rescheduled by the provider to a later date .
Guarantees for group or individual training
The training is provided by the provider and meets high service standards. The provider provides you with the best materials, coaching and programs, but all results depend solely on you, your own commitment, your focus, your application of the content and your skills. You agree to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and support, and fully participate in the sessions, programs, or events to produce the best possible results.
You are solely responsible for creating your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, choices, actions, and outcomes that result from the workshops, coachings and interactions with the provider. By using the training, you agree that the provider shall not be liable or responsible for your actions or omissions thereof, or for any direct or indirect results of any training provided by the provider. You understand that mindfulness training and coaching is not therapy, does not replace therapy when needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical condition.
The provider is not responsible for any damage resulting from your use of the training courses.
Confidentiality
The coaching relationship and all information that you share exclusively with the provider as part of this relationship are subject to the principles of confidentiality.
However, please note that the coaching relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship and therefore the communication is not protected by any legally recognized privilege.
You agree that the Provider may use, share and disclose your story, questions and development path to third parties for coaching purposes without sharing your personal information consisting of your name, picture and date of birth.
Legal validity of the General Terms and Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions apply with effect from June 23, 2022 until further notice.
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the other provisions.
